2018 Annual Meeting

The Annual gathering of Friends from every corner of the county was held at Harris County Public Library's Administrative Offices on March 23. Business included the State of the Library Address by HCPL Director Edward Melton, a presentation on the upcoming Summer Reading Program by Division Manager of Programs, Partnerships & Outreach Linda Stevens. The culmination of the event was the presentation of checks to representatives of the four libraries that were most heavily damaged by Harvey. The funds were donated by branch friends groups and other generous contributors, and will help rebuild flood-damaged collections.
